Dyestuffs -- 3 - Amino - 4 - Methoxy - (2-Methyl-3-Chloro) Benzanilide

The newly-developed 3 - Amino - 4 - Methoxy - (2-Methyl-3-Chloro) - Benzanilide, producted by our works, is made from 3-nitro-4-me thoxy benzoic acid by processes of condensation with 2-methyl-3-chloroaniline and reduction. It is a developer with higher fastness among ice dyestuffs and mainly used for printing of cotton, staple fibre and yarn of ramie, flax,etc. In the fields of dyeing, manufacturing of organic pigments, coloring of printing ink and coating printing-paste, it also finds application.

Primary melting point of the dried : 142oC min
Content of 3-Amino-4-Methoxy-(2-Methyl-3-Chloro) Benzanilide 98% min
Insoluble matter in hydrochloric acid 0.1% max
Shade and strength when coupling with Naphthol AS on cotton fibre similar to the standard
Percentage of screenings(80 mesh) 0.5% max
